`Animal Experiments Should Be Banned.`
The use of non-human animals in research and development projects, especially for the purposes of determining the safety of substances such as foods or drugs has been done for decades. Many people argue that animal experiments are necessary. They say that by testing animals, the results of these experiments will benefit mankind. However, experimenting animals should be banned because it has three reasons: it is cruel, expensive and the effects of animal experiments are not proven.
The first problem is that the ways to animal experiments are too cruel. In reality, animals are not treated well. Some handlers mistreat test animals. One employee of an animal testing facility in Philadelphia said that animals were abused. According to him, rabbits were routinely used for testing products but consider that rabbits do not have tear ducts to wash away chemicals as humans do. Rabbits are tested because people want to know that how mascaras irritate hum…(skip)
